We are now well into the fall season which means Advent is just around the corner. The women of Holy Love (middle school age and up) and Holy Love's Preschool staff are invited to join in fun, food, and fellowship on Saturday, Dec. 2nd, from 11am-1pm in the Fellowship Hall. Our speaker, Pastor Karen Ullestad, will share "Communities of Hope" with us and how we can find, sustain, and spread hope in a chaotic and troubled world. This will be a time of centering ourselves for the coming days of Advent and Christmas.
We held our first Advent luncheon last year in the hope that it might become an annual event. It was so well received by both our table hostesses and our guests that we have a good chance of making it a tradition - come and join us!
To reserve your spot, sign up in the Narthex after worship or email Rhonda Merritt at the link below with the number in your party, your phone number, and any food allergies. We will be collecting donations of canned goods for a local food bank at the luncheon. There is no cost to attend the luncheon. (But if you feel moved to provide a nominal freewill offering to help defray expenses, any amount would be greatly appreciated!)
Holy Love offers a variety of opportunities for Adult Christian Education as well as fun social events and service to our community.
