Holy Love Lutheran Church Preschool & Kindergarten, located in Aurora, CO, is a Christian preschool and kindergarten committed to adhering to our mission of providing  children, ages three through five years, a strong and positive early  childhood education, integrated with Christian values.

We  are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and compassionate Christian  individual to complete our Pre-K Team for the summer of 2024. This is a  part time position for summer only. This is a temporary position with a  potential to turn into a permeant position for the 2024-2025 school  year.

Summer Schedule

June 4th-6th Staff Schedule Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 8:45am-2:00pm

June 11th-13th Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 8:45am-2:00pm

July 9th-11th Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 8:45am-2:00pm

July 16th-18th Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 8:45am-2:00pm

```Duties```

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support each child's individual needs
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

- Prepare and implement a fun and interactive summer curriculum

- Work collaboratively with a team of teachers

```Experience```
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting- Level two or above in Colorado Shines (preferred)
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations for diverse learners
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative teaching methods
- Strong skills in behavior management and creating a positive classroom culture
- childcare experience is a plus
- Understanding of child welfare policies and procedures
