The Transition Team begins their work!
The team is Ian Condie, Darryl Harvey, Kay Johnson, Rhonda Merritt, Beth Newsom and Earl Weihe with Pastor Kari Reiquam, Intentional Interim Pastor, serving as guide and coach.
The Transition Team has been appointed by council and is beginning the process to assist the congregation in looking back, looking forward and being present to the realities of being the church today. The team is very aware of the circumstances of Holy Love and is taking steps to be efficient in the process.
The work of transition is not for the team alone! Articles will be made available for all to read. Events will be planned where everyone can participate. Interviews will need to take place and the team needs the congregation to be accommodating and helpful.
What is at stake here? What is at stake is the way the future emerges for Holy Love. Holy Love needs to consider its mission, its call by God and its options in order to be ready for the call process.
The team will keep confidentiality on some matters, but on most matters, it wants to be transparent and open to the congregations’ participation. Communication will come through the website as well as updates on the weekly mailing. Please contact the church office if you have questions or concerns and someone from the team will get back to you.
And keep the team in your prayers
Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. Colossians 3:15 (The Message)
